Introducing Trends Audio's mini-size Class-T stereo amplifier, the TA-10.1. Thanks to the Tripath's proprietary Class-T Digital Power Processing (TM) technology and Trends' special techniques in circuit design and component selection, the TA-10.1 achieves the same sound quality of high-end HiFi, but without the lofty price tag!
Materials include a double-sided PCB, all 1 percent metal film resistors, Thomson & EVOX small film capacitors, 1500uF SANYO WG (high freq., low ESR) electrolytic power filters, BENNIC XPP 2.2uF input coupling, and large air-core inductors x 4 low-pass-filters.
The TA-10.1 performs very much like Class-AB amplifiers, with high fidelity and warm sound. Yet, it's power efficiency and physical size is just like a Class-D amplifier. Even though it's maximum output power is only 2x15W, the TA-10.1 is actually powerful enough to even push floor-stand speakers with authority and good bass control.
