Hi, I'm looking to buy a DAC and an amp to hook up to my PC. I can figure out how to connect a pair of bookshelf speakers to the amp. What I don't know is how to add a subwoofer. What is the best, most efficient way to do this? Thanks, RJ

Do you seriously need a sub for a PC application ? I think a good set of efficient speakers would do without the sub. There are sub connectors that will let you branch to a sub if you really want it.

In my opinion, if you used a Y output from your source and used one side of the Y for the sub send and the other for the amp send, you could run a separate sub. Does that make sense to you? source, Y from L channel output, 1 lead going to amp L input and one lead going to sub input, Y from R channel output, with 1 lead going to amp R input and one lead going to sub input; if your sub only has one input, you could combine those with a Y, too - make sure and notice that you are using a mono adapter on the source output and mono a Y adapter for the sub Of course, if your sub has a stereo in, the Y combiner would not be necessary I hope that was not condescending, I was just trying to be complete Does that answer your question?
