Reid Towsley's Zhaolu DAC
"Here's a photo of my stereo gear (no speakers shown, they are DIY and sound great, but are ugly as hell). The Zhaolu DAC has only a slight modification to it, and that's the the bypassing of coupling capacitors.
The preamp and amplifier are DIY items built from kits distributed by a couple of non profit guys. Here's a link to their web-site . The pre-amp is the Kookaburra, and the power amp is Mauro's Rev.C. All interconnects (SPDIF and analog) are also DIY and built from RG179."
